HorrorLex is a specially curated searchable database of writing about the horror genre. Much of it is open access and peer reviewed, and it’s a great site for researching the genre. Lex also maintains a great blog on the site.
Horror Matters
Sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh and affiliated with the George A. Romero Foundation, Horror Matters is part of the Horror Studies Working Group. This page is a resource for the study and enjoyment of horror; they maintain notices about publications in the field as well as articles, interviews, and more.
Miskatonic University
Named for the eldrich university from HP Lovecraft’s world, Miskatonic hosts lectures by horror academics, both online and in person in London
. They have an amazing backlog of recorded lectures on the site, and they cover horror across broad disciplinary approaches.
U of Pittsburg Horror Studies Library Collection
This special collection houses the papers from the George A. Romero Archival Collection and other media related to horror studies. The website features articles, interviews, the Evil in the Stacks podcast, and information about the collection’s holdings.
